Napoleon and Fluffy - adopted March 2013

Fluffy is an adult neutered male surrendered by a gal who had too many cats. Fluffy now Gimli showed up on her property. Her attempts to find the owners were futile so she surrendered him to the IOWHS for us to find him a home.  She continued to visit Fluffy up at Petsmart encouraging visitors to adopt him and a good family adopted him.

Napoleon is a mature male neutered cat surrendered because his owner died in February. He is at least 5 years old - probably 6 or 7. He was a favorite up at Petsmart. Never heard any complaints. A mature dignified guy who liked being with people. Very attentive and sensitive.  Getting him from the apartment was a challenge but he warmed up right away to me.  He had a cat friend in the apartment who someone adopted right away from the gal responsible for handling the estate and belongings of her friend that had died unexpectedly.  The day before Napoleon's 3 weeks at Petsmart ended, he was adopted.  I'm so glad he didn't need to come back to me to foster for another three weeks before he could go up to Petsmart again.
