Lola - adopted

May 2012 - Lola was a sweet female that was picked up at a Gas station in IOW.  The gal who rescued her was going to keep her but her own cats picked on her so she surrendered her.  Lola was a very sweet girl.  She wasn't quite so sure what she thought about Eustis' energy.  She really liked Grayson.  At that time I didn't let a foster out if Grayson was also out at the same time.  But she would like by his cage and he would lie by hers when she was out so I did end up letting them out together and they got along very well.

Eustis - adopted

Eustis is a grey tabby kitten found at the Ft Eustis mail room.  How she got there no one knows.  She was quite scared and skiddish when I got her but she came around quite quickly and got quite clingy but fortunately was adopted before I got too attached to her.

She was adopted by a CNU student who had never had a cat before.  Living in the house owned by his parents who had moved out of the country, he had permission to get a cat when he was old enough.  He called in a panic that evening.   He had lost her.  He didn't think she had gotten out of the house.  I went over to the house in the morning before work.  She was hiding in one of the few places available in the sparsely furnished house - under the couch.    He didn't think she could get under there but there she was.

I had recommended that she be give limited range of the house for a while.  I think she was overwhelmed.  She needed some more places to hide.  She was a beautiful sweet playful kitten and I'm sure her owner is having fun with her.

She was adopted on Sept 5, 2012.
