Button/Isabel (Issy) - adopted Dec 2011

Button - I named her that cause she was cute as a button - was trapped while TNRing cats in my colony. I was so tempted to keep her but I was going to an Irish Dance competition in Florida. I didn't want to overburden my cat caregiver and thought it was surrender "now or never". I decided to surrender her to the IOW Humane Society for them to put up for adoption. I wasn't fostering yet. While filling out the paperwork at Petsmart, her new "mom" was being interviewed to adopt her so I got to meet her. She was looking for a playmate for her 2 year old cat. She invited me to come over after I came back from Florida which I did. Issy as she was now named had no idea who I was. I made a good decision.

She had time in the cage with all the ferals recovering and after they were all released I brought her into the house less than 3 days of socialization. We just played the whole time as you can see from the photos.
